The UX Design Handbook
Welcome to the comprehensive guide on the User Experience design process. This book is structured into twelve chapters. The first five chapters cover the core phases of design thinking: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. In addition, we have some advanced topics covered in the remaining chapters.
Before we dive into the first chapter, let me explain what design thinking is and why is is used by UX professionals. Design Thinking is an approach for problem solving that is based on iteratively learning about users while rapid prototyping and testing with the users. Even when the term has "Design", it is not a design approach but a problem solving one. You can implement design thinking into anything that you want to find innovate ideas to solve problems that users have.
